KBRA Releases Research – Auto and Marketplace Loan Level Analysis: The Virtues of Loan Security

NEW YORK–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Kroll Bond Rating Agency (KBRA) releases a research report examining the difference in consumer behavior when a borrower falls behind on a secured or unsecured loan. The report draws on loan level performance data on 8.7 million auto loans and 7.2 million marketplace consumer loans from multiple originators, as the former is almost always secured by the financed vehicle, while the latter is typically unsecured.
