Antenna Bolsters Mobility Practice With Katelyn Davis, Expands Into Detroit

Davis will lead Antenna’s expansion in the Motor City and increase the firm’s access to the local automotive and mobility ecosystem

DETROIT–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Antenna Group, an award-winning integrated public relations and digital marketing agency specializing in cleantech, mobility, real estate, health and emerging B2B technology, has appointed automotive industry veteran Katelyn Davis as Director of Mobility. Davis will drive the firm’s rapidly expanding mobility practice which has realized top line revenue growth of 220% in the past year. Davis will provide strategic counsel across Antenna’s mobility client portfolio and support business development and client networking initiatives.

Based out of Detroit, Davis brings a unique background that incorporates automotive domain expertise combined with public relations and marketing excellence. She is the first Antenna member based in the Motor City, marking a new strategic direction for the agency.

“The Detroit region is home to the highest density of automotive and mobility companies in the U.S. — including 22 automakers, 96 of the top 100 global automotive suppliers, and several world class autonomous vehicle testing facilities, mobility venture capital firms and startup incubators,” said Davis. “By establishing a Detroit presence thereby complementing our Silicon Valley roots, Antenna clients will benefit from the institutional knowledge and strong industry ties that come with our geographic presence.”

Davis is on the board of the Automotive Public Relations Council and was recognized among Detroit’s 30 in their Thirties in 2021 by DBusiness. She is also co-author of the forthcoming Women Driven Mobility, which chronicles female-led mobility innovations and initiatives across the country. The book will be published by SAE International in 2021.

Before joining Antenna, Davis led PR and communications strategy for a variety of automotive and mobility clients including the North American International Auto Show. Davis also served as the Director of MICHauto, Michigan’s automotive and mobility industry association; and as a corporate affairs and communications specialist at global automotive supplier Yazaki. Additionally, Davis spent time embedded at Ford Motor Company headquarters, as part of her role with agency-of-record GTB, where she brought a new perspective to the company’s communications for its mobility platform, green initiatives and other key business areas.

“Katelyn brings an exciting mix of automotive marketing and public policy experience to the Antenna team, as well as a fantastic network of industry relationships,” said Keith Zakheim, CEO of Antenna. “She will provide our mobility client portfolio with a unique Detroit-centric perspective on the future of mobility through the lens of major automotive manufacturers and suppliers.”
