Leads Near Me and Musician Will Turpin of Collective Soul Debut Original ‘High Gear’ Song and Video as Nod to Auto Repair Shops

ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–As Leads Near Me® gets ready to kick off its first High Gear Auto Repair Marketing Conference from Nov. 29 through Dec. 1, 2023, in Atlanta, it has released a new song and video called “High Gear.” Produced as an ode to auto repair shop owners and employees across the country, the song and video can be accessed here. You can also find the song on Apple Music, Spotify and other music-streaming platforms.

“Shop owners and their skilled employees work hard every day to keep America moving,” said Ryan Burton, CEO of Leads Near Me, a digital marketing agency focused on helping auto repair shops grow their businesses. “The High Gear conference is my way of giving back to auto repair professionals, and the song and video are dedicated to them as a nod to all their efforts.”

The “High Gear” song was developed in collaboration with Will Turpin of the chart-topping, award-winning band Collective Soul, singer/songwriter Brian Collins, and vintage rock ’n’ roll band The Summit, based in Cincinnati. Turpin and Collective Soul bandmate Jesse Triplett contributed guitars to the song, which was recorded in Turpin’s Real 2 Reel Studios located in Jonesboro, Georgia, with vocals from The Summit’s lead singer Chris Scott. Turpin and Collins are the song’s writers and producers under their production company Real People Music.

“I’m a marketer at heart, here to help owners transform their auto repair shops into effective lead-generating, relationship-building businesses that keep customers coming back,” Burton said. “The song and video are examples of how you can combine business skills, creativity and marketing in a way that makes a splash and increases awareness of any business.”

Turpin agrees. “Ryan understands marketing, and the idea to tip his hat to auto repair shops was intriguing. I was all in.”

“High Gear” is a kickstart-the-heart type of song with a modern country rock sound. While the title may hint at a one-dimensional mechanical theme, “High Gear” is woven with artistry reminiscent of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, The Cult and Audioslave. Ryan Burton served as executive producer of the video; it was directed and edited by Max Smith of MAXMIX Productions, and it includes Burton, Turpin (and his Real 2 Reel studios), Brian Collins, The Summit and Jim Brown, owner of North Roswell Auto Repair and six other shops in metro Atlanta, who contributed his shop’s location and employees to be interwoven into the video’s storyline.

Turpin, Collins and The Summit will perform an intimate show featuring the “High Gear” song at the welcome reception for attendees and exhibitors at the High Gear Auto Repair Marketing Conference presented by Leads Near Me and Steer by Mechanic Advisor. To attend, visit highgearconference.com.
