New Snap-on CT761 Impact Gets into Tight Spaces with Power
KENOSHA, Wis. – Get unimaginable power and unrestrained productivity with the new Snap-on® 14.4 Volt 3/8-inch Drive MicroLithium Cordless Impact (CT761).
“Our new CT761 has 70 percent more torque than previous models with little increase in size. No other cordless impact wrench comes close to this much power in such a compact design,” said Rodger Isetts, product manager for Snap-on. “The CT761 allows users access hard-to-reach places that they could never go with an air wrench, yet still have the power to get the job done right.”
Providing 120 ft. lbs. of torque output, the new Snap-on 14.4 Volt 3/8-inch Drive MicroLithium Impact produces 2,000 RPMs of free speed to handle a wide range of torque applications. A nose-mounted LED offers plenty of light and the CT761 warns the user if they are under voltage or over current, shutting down the impact before it overheats.
The Snap-on CT761 is perfect for cramped engine compartments and other restricted access applications. It is also ideal for fender bolts, water pump pulley bolts and seat removal. A variable-speed, toggle-style trigger gives precise control to the user, avoiding over torqueing or snapping fasteners.
Weighing just over two pounds, the light-weight CT761 lets the user work comfortably for longer periods of time, increasing productivity on the job. In addition, the 14.4 volt Impact with 2.0 Ah battery delivers longer run time and the fuel gauge notifies the operator how much battery life is left. The battery recharges in under an hour and is interchangeable with all Snap-on 14.4 MicroLithium tools.
